By accessing or using MacRat ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
MacRat is an AI-powered nutrition tracking application that allows users to log food, analyze recipes, and track macronutrients. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with a 7-day free trial period.
3. Accounts
- → You must be at least 13 years old to use MacRat
- → You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
- → You must provide accurate information when creating your account
- → One person may not maintain more than one free trial account
4. Subscription & Billing
- → MacRat offers a Monthly plan ($14/month) and an Annual plan ($119.99/year)
- → All plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends
- → Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
- → You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- → We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- → Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- → Attempt to reverse engineer or scrape the app or its AI systems
- → Share your account credentials with others
- → Attempt to circumvent subscription requirements or free trial limits
6. AI & Nutritional Accuracy
MacRat uses AI to estimate nutritional information. While we strive for accuracy, macro calculations are estimates and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice. MacRat is not a medical product and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any health condition.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and technology within MacRat is owned by MacRat and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any personal data you submit, but grant us a license to use it to provide the Service.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
MacRat is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that nutritional data will be 100% accurate.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MacRat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts of your state of residence.
